I’m not even going to pretend anything I can write about today is going to be as interesting as the second trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
Here’s the trailer:
And here’s the more fun (and significantly more violent) red band version:
The trailer for provides a slightly deeper look into The Golden Circle‘s story, namely a hint of Julianne Moore’s villain and a few bits of what’s sure to be nearly endless banter and oneupmanship between the gentlemanly Kingsman and the very American Statesman. The original film’s tremendous blend of outlandish comedy, over-the-top action, and exciting spy thriller moments looks like it’s going to another level entirely—and that’s a very good thing.
Want to see briefcases and umbrellas used as deadly weapons? The Golden Circle will provide. Want to see a cowboy cut somebody in half with a lasso? Yeah, that’s there too. Go ahead. Forget the real world and spend two minutes with the trailer. Or more, because if you’re anything like me, you’re going to watch this thing several times with a big, stupid grin on your face the whole time.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle features an absurdly stacked cast, including Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, and Channing Tatum in addition to returning stars Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, and Colin Firth. It hits theaters September 22, or exactly 64 days later than I’d like.
